Intimate Strangers

Meet Ghost, the enforcer for his family's lucrative drug business. In a world of nightmares, he's one of the worst. They call themselves the Ring Of Fire and they control a huge section of Baltimore City. This shadowy world erupts into warfare. Tango and his enforcer, Outlaw, want to take over the ROF's territory. Outlaw has heard of Ghost and wants to test his own skills against his. Normally Ghost would gladly take his challenge. He would be right at home with bullets and bodies flying all over the place but things have changed. His dark world is hit by a ray of light.

Her name is Ebony. After saving her from an abusive boyfriend, Ghost has fallen for her, hard. Unwilling to leave his family high and dry in their time of need, he vows to leave the game once the Tango situation is resolved. However that may be. Tango starts off by trying to buy the ROF out. When that doesn't work he unleashes Outlaw and his soldiers to take it by force. Ghost meets them head on. While out on a dinner date he's ambushed in the restroom. When he takes too long to return to the table Ebony goes looking for him and finds herself staring down the barrel of a gun. During the confusion Ghost disarms the gunman. Ebony is shook up. She breaks up with Ghost and moves out of his house. He's heartbroken and uses his grief to fuel his rage. Tango and his people are engulfed in pure violence. They begin to lose the taste for fighting.

While Ghost does what he does best, Ebony does some soul searching. She decides that her place is with him. She moves back in. She's in for the long haul. Ghost wants to end this war so he really turns up the pressure. Mysteriously members of the ROF are almost killed in places where they should be safe. Ghost is almost killed by Ebony's old boyfriend and another member's girlfriend is killed in his truck. There's a traitor in the ROF. Ghost sends Ebony and everyone else's girlfriend to a safe house with orders not to contact anyone. He flushes out the traitor. They then kill Tango's lieutenant. Tango tries to run for the hills. Ghost finds him and Outlaw. They turn a hotel parking garage into a battle zone. Tango is killed. Ghost and Outlaw have their showdown. Ghost proves he's the best but loses an eye in the process. It ends with Ghost and Ebony on a row boat in the Harbor. He has an eye patch, she has a bun in the oven.
